its back

the custom template is up. i drew a pic on a piece of paper showing what I wanted then setabout doing exactly what I wanted on a blank screen. Sometimes its the best way to knock it all down and begin afresh, this was one of them. I didn't know where some of the crappy CSS of the template was aiming, I deleted it all and put my CSS in.

Martin Johnson quits as England rugby captain and ENDS England career. I think that it is always the ideal place to end one's career at its peak: if you go and decide not to, you are always trying in vain to emulate the success that you had when you were in your prime when now it is not possible to do so.
Who's going to be the next England captain? Lawrence Dallaglio would be a great choice although he is quite old. Not that being old is a bad thing because with age comes experience and he already has been Eng capt. before he was sacked (cannot remember why, drugs? affair?). Whoever is the next capt. will have a huge shadow to fill.

movies: not been to the movies very much since back from Manchester. There is the local showcase which shows the big movies but I am interested in arthouse movies (such as the ones shown at the Cornerhouse in Manchester. I did see the final Lord of the Rings movie earlier this week. It was brilliant for the most part, the ending was incredibly soppy and happy. Alright, Frodo did his duty, saved the world and survived. That would be a great (good, excellent, great and brilliant are too few words for describing tremendous things - shall look in the thesaurus!) ending. But I need to see more!.
