Thom Yorke + the Devil

Thom Yorke (the only famous person I've ever seen, he's from Radiohead you know) missed out on the Mercury Music prize (those evil Sheffield scamps the Arctic Monkeys won it last night incase you were wondering) but with each repeated listen of his debut solo album "The Eraser" I am discovering deeper and darker moments that send messages to the darkest parts of my brain. Its *awesome*!!! I cannot say enough about it, it's bloody fucking awesome and you should d-load it right fucking now you heavenly bastards; save your soul now, there just mite be just enough time to spare.

So the Monkeys won the Mercurys last night. Big deal. It's going to change soo much ain't it. What is the point of these fucking awards? Is it to bring the unheard of bands some light, to share out the money equally between the many exceptional musicians out there (Hot Chip, whose awesome "Boy from School" mp3 plays to my lucky ears right now, and *the Editors* and "Guillemots" and so on,,,) or just bigup the already huge artists, handing them more money and fame in the process??? Whatever.

My room now is fully equipped with all the music I have ever bought, the music of the internet and radio, and my MD is hooked up to record the exceptional music from the internet... Yes it is good. All the CDs are in order and i have a copy of "nothing compares to u" by King Creosote... needless to say its the shit...

Right, I am fucking tired. Maybe more to follow tomorrow... sweeet.
