Dark cold and blue. Crikey. Greg Dyke quits as DG of the BBC. wow. Bloody hutton enquiry cleared the government of any blame... the report laid all the blame of the death of hutton on the shoulders of the BBC. strange.

Wrist weights. I am experimenting with wrist weights while juggling. I discovered yesterday that mum had a set of ankle weights which she had used about 7 years ago for aerobics before being told that the current advice was that they were more harm than good. They're 500g each which doesn't sound like much but soon adds onto the fact that the arms are moving really fast, especially with 5-ball. rec.juggling reported that chops were a good wrist weight exercise. FUCK YEAH. My arms after a couple of hundred throws were burning. I did 4-ball (37x4 max) and 5ball (39 max) as well as clubs to use up the rest of the half-hour before taking the weights off and continuing for another half hour without. My arms flew around for the first couple of mins after before I got used to the fact that I was not subjected to an extra gravity on my limbs and found that I was throwing more acurately and tiring less during runs of five. Later in the day I stared playing with clubs and got a start on windmill, precursor to mills mess, over- and under- the net tennis. Yeah.

Six feet under: first of series three on tonight, okay at moments. The first series rocked. I didn't watch much of the second because of 24 and the only edit that I did see sucked ass. Nate died. then he was alive. Is he dead or is he alive? Hes gotten rid of that sexy bint and landed a kid and an anxious wife(?) with riko a partner of the business. clare is going to artschool and seeing this new bloke who she met while delivering a corpse. Quality. What made the first series so cool was her, the dead dad and lots of weird shit. I like weird shit, more please!
New Frasier last nite x2. Frasier had in my eyes died a few years ago, forever shown on late night repeats never quite leaving the conscience. Now its wicked again, very funny and very enjoyable.

i found out how to use javascript to change the template css file that is used by placing a number of "buttons" which bypasses my need to get php going. originally I had seen the site CSS Zen Garden which is fucking cracking. They give the php code, asp code, and a link to a site with javascript to do the same effect. I could not be arsed to do the javascript tutorial cos js is evil. I then found that the excellent juggling tutorials site tWJC uses js to do the whole CSS change thing. So I looked at their source code, isolated the required text and js file and put in onto a page of my own. voila. it works. Now I need to come up with some funky css effects to make things look good. but its a good start!
