Max Speed   33.0mph

ill have to work out a better way of representing that, but for now its fine. the weather was initially very mild low to mid 20s (c) and overcast with the clouds looking dark and threatening, i thought about setting back for my waterproof but thats way to heavy and bulky for road riding and i was lucky because it did not rain. later on after a nice cuppa-t and cake the weather warmed up and the sun was out making riding less fun. there was little or no wind of any significance. The ride itself was shorter than the previous two at 67 miles and relatively flat (with a few small camber hills - not too steep in my lingo) and i was strong riding up them, a nice town of interest is alderley end very pretty, lots of touristy type shops and most importantly a grand rolling bit of green.
at the end of the ride i was still going quickly ~24mph in town and i was less worn out, due to (a)cooler weather; (b)slower pace in general, altho my average for this ride is faster than last weeks of ~17mph (due mainly to the almost bonk for the last 10 miles or so after that hill) and less hills; (c) more energy taken in at the rest at the cafe. In future I will drink more fluid before the ride and also eat more before the ride (bacon sarnies are a good idea).

Mum and Dad came to visit Saturday. We went walking around Wickem Fen (destination of first road ride), lunch in town with Robert before this and before he went to friend woodie's 21st in melbourn. in the evening we had a fantastic dinner outside at Fen Ditton, after searching for a pub which would serve us food before m and d went off home.

Rob came up on Friday, we went out and got very drunk. It was good! We all had lunch with M + D in Granchester pub overlooking a nice landscape of field and river and beyond. In the afternoon Rob went to Woodies' 21st birthday party.
