Belle de Jour the first ever blog I read, has ended. I guess the time taken to manage these things is too much for some people who want to spend it in new different more challanging ways. Is this the end of the blog or is it just the beginning? In the beginning maybe the person thought this form of conversage was like a diary, ananoymous and private with the added incentive of the voyeristic provider but maybe it turned too deep, too revealing, too difficult to keep doing it at the same pace.

I finished "The Torrents of Spring" by Earnest Hemmingway, a very short tall story in Michigan with Indians and whites. The simple was best in this grand book. Now I have started "A Farewell to Arms", also by Hemmingway, it is too early to guage what this is about.
