camelshit

Hi. read a lot of books lately. Finished "A Year in the Merde" today, already onto "the bourne Identity". Finally I have skype, i popped over to Maplin this pm and got a mike, how well it will work? I will get a proper headset if I use skype regularly.
One thing to add: i clocked a 28.4mph in the damp of friday afternoon. Cruising at 25, then stomp on the gas at the pedestrian crossing line. The bike is full of squeeks and errs at the moment, she's in need of some loving.

Woot

Have you seen this?? It's A-level results day in England + Wales.

Recently my bike was back into action. And also I have put my speedo on my bike too. It's amazing how fast one can get on a mountain bike. There is a longish burn along Kings Hedges Road of about 1 mile, a tiny bit lumpy but only talking 10s of cm in either direction (it is Cambridge). I've recorded a 27.7 mph, and several 26mphs. My aim is 30+. There is a problem with this and this is the route is only 1.7 miles long, and the muscles, lungs and heart are still getting used to going at a much faster rate. After a good warm-up, a slick rear tyre and some oil to my chain and gears : I've no doubt that 30+ is achievable.

Today after work, I thought that there was badminton in Impington at 6-7. I rode home, got changed and set off for the place. No-one there, football players running around the courts. I now know how to get there, and the ride (just under 4 miles) was really good for me too.

Just finished "The Pilgrimage" by Paulo Coelho. Incredible. Real good self-help type book: lots of morals, many finding-self exercises, and its on the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Coelho is a great writer, ive also read and loved "the alchemist" (don't read the prologue before the main part of the book), and shall be getting more of his books as soon as I've finished the other books on my shelves :))

the terquis of vino's jersey

drunk in charge of a computer, the world at my heels and the book in my hands shakes gently to the soul of the wind/
Fear and Lothing in Las Vegas, ace book. Best enjoyed while rapidly consuming fuming vats of treacle. or if last resort brings forth treacle not, a case of the best lager in the world: 3 kronies and a grolsch.
:Last nite I finished The Alchemist. Today I am onto the another challange. But now I have a working bike, mtn bike, I fixed her today. She's fucking georgious. Petit and fitter than the sphinx. Eleanor Rigby's fitter cousin. She's a freaking dream.
ATDI on the fones.
