BLUE

finished completed the 900,000 and 750,000 point grab (2 mins to get these goals) and the 500,000 point combo on THPS 4 fucking mindfuckingly difficult, especially the 900k goal in Chicago but now I get two 1.5M pt goals to reward me for the hard work. The answer is Special Tricks the 900 and the 900 indy and some others that I cannot remember. Apparently Special Lip tricks are good too, not used them yet.
Bright sunlight over blue milky cloud edged sky. Ive been to the Tesco today, played on THPS 4 and listened to music on the PC. over the long weekend I read lots of newspaper and also some of plan B. Went to the cinema to see 'the cronicles of Riddick' which was shallow but very entertaining. Last night I was up until 2am playing on the PS2 and then reading and doing pressups.
-pressups-
For the last week or so Ive been doing pressups every night, with situps once although I need a dampner devise to carry on with these, pressups are very useful.

brittle morning blues

.up.
this morning awoke early polished the whistle and showered then went to the shops for the paper and some fattening food. Eating lots of this confort fodder at moment. Not good but makes one feel good at the time although not after, shit did I actually eat that shit? that kind of feeling.
music: listening to the second hour of monday's breezeblock with Francois K in the mix. I have, at the parents place, a double CD of Creamer and K (John and Francois, respectively) which is pure filth and damn cool too. I need more music here in Cambridge, when can I get more music in Cambridge? Fuck.
.sport.
Lots of sport on the box at the moment, there is the cricket (currently 51-1; day one of 5; fourth and final test against the West Indies aka the "windies" of which we are 3-0) and the olympics especially the heats of the K1 men and the C2 men (don't like C2, looks well dodgy, C1 is my personal favorite followed by K1). Three channels of sport, ace. In the room again. Watched too much of it this morning. Three fucking channels for fucks sake. :>
.rain.
its raining, nuff said.

currently listening to: the breezeblock 16/08/04
mood: fucking halarious

bronze + silver

i am a virtual recluse.
mainly watching the olympics, playing tony Hawk Proskater 4 on the PS2 and eating bad junk food
but today i also took some pictures with my nikon f80. too bad i aint got a digital d70 which is what i am harping after but with no money i cannot afford such a luxury, and also no scanner. the rain sure fell, extra doomy clouds over the houses over the road. the continuous shoot feature on the f80 is scary. app. 2.5 fotos a second. sure eats the film up if you want it to.

today after getting bored with my boring css settup of this blog page i changed to this. its very blue. i like it at the moment, what do you think? needs changes and alterations obviously but for now its ace.

GB won bronze in the womens slalom K1. Bronze in the womens 70m archery. Bronze in the eventing (horses) and Silver in some other event (Horses). We go for Gold in the mixed doubles badminton after winning our semi in straight "games" (whatever they call them in badminton). In other sport England play the Ukraine in the footie friendly which is on TV as I write (im transfixed with this weeks breezeblock with Francoise K in the mix. he's awesome. The show is being run by annie Mac, superbabe. The two cheeting Greeks finally gave up and announced that they were pulling out of the Olympics. Yan the man could only manage 7th behind Tyler Hamilton, defending champion Viatcheslav Ekimov and Bobby Julich.

black books + 4 Hero

You know its very good to laugh. Black Books on DvD series one resurfaced from the racks this evening in the lounge. The first two episodes, especially the first, very funny good.
Listening to 4 Hero: "The Remix Album" CD one. Got out of the habit, recently, of listening to any music other than that out of the radio. Very bad form. Especially in the day time where I am mostly about, listening to crap when crap is mostly on. Today if less warm to the hands was hotter to the ears with more and more music being tuned into their cavities. This CD now is very chilly, suitable listenage for the lateness of the night 2300 almost.
There is a hell of a lot of pictures out there. photoheads, snapping pictures by the gallon-load and then filling up spaces on the web with their efforts. It is purely the digital revolution. I'm often sitting here in the chair just browsing admiring their beauty wishing that I could at least learn some of their skill. At the weekend I took lots of pictures. Digital is surely the way for me to go, once i get the money. Instant feadback of what once would take does take weeks from start to prints, in minutes hours seconds dependent on where the comp is where one is and if there is any juice in the pod.
Cycling - Im very much tempted to go on one of the club's CHAINGANG rides (every tue, over the summer months). But again I am put off by doubt of self speed, endurance at the rumoured high speed rides. No prisoners are taken, if you are dropped thats your chaingang ride over for the night. I know I am powerful, but I am not as fit as I can be with vegitation of being housebound all week long, and I know I can go for long rides without being dropped. Its the fastness of the CHAINGANG and the newbie nature of not actually having done one of these rides before that is getting in my mind. It's been recommended that I actually do go on one. Just personal motivation to take me to that level. And more miles in the week between the Sunday rides that is needed. I sure like going fast. It's my mission.

biking

Destination   Unknown
Duration   3.43.10 (h.m.s)
Distance   67.02 miles
Av. Speed   18.1mph
Max Speed   33.0mph

ill have to work out a better way of representing that, but for now its fine. the weather was initially very mild low to mid 20s (c) and overcast with the clouds looking dark and threatening, i thought about setting back for my waterproof but thats way to heavy and bulky for road riding and i was lucky because it did not rain. later on after a nice cuppa-t and cake the weather warmed up and the sun was out making riding less fun. there was little or no wind of any significance. The ride itself was shorter than the previous two at 67 miles and relatively flat (with a few small camber hills - not too steep in my lingo) and i was strong riding up them, a nice town of interest is alderley end very pretty, lots of touristy type shops and most importantly a grand rolling bit of green.
at the end of the ride i was still going quickly ~24mph in town and i was less worn out, due to (a)cooler weather; (b)slower pace in general, altho my average for this ride is faster than last weeks of ~17mph (due mainly to the almost bonk for the last 10 miles or so after that hill) and less hills; (c) more energy taken in at the rest at the cafe. In future I will drink more fluid before the ride and also eat more before the ride (bacon sarnies are a good idea).

Mum and Dad came to visit Saturday. We went walking around Wickem Fen (destination of first road ride), lunch in town with Robert before this and before he went to friend woodie's 21st in melbourn. in the evening we had a fantastic dinner outside at Fen Ditton, after searching for a pub which would serve us food before m and d went off home.

Rob came up on Friday, we went out and got very drunk. It was good! We all had lunch with M + D in Granchester pub overlooking a nice landscape of field and river and beyond. In the afternoon Rob went to Woodies' 21st birthday party.

humph

t-storm. very much water. got a few pics of the rain, at different speeds. have to see what they look like. hoovered the house incl my room. loads of clothes washing. played tony hawk 4 again. hitting a brick wall. done the difficult tasks. now its time for the incredibly fucking insanely difficult tasks. its finally cooler with the rain but still very humid.
manchester united beat dinamo buchurest 2-1 away last night in the 3rd (and final) round champions League qualifier [first leg]. United dominated but went away victorious after a lucky owngoal by dinamo. Liam Millar looks very impressive, it was his cross that hit a Dinamo defender and bounced into the goal.
England have the upper hand in the cricket after the first day of the 3rd test match against the Windies at Old Trafford, Manchester. Now the Windies are on 275-6. Lara still is waiting to reach the impecible milestone of 10,000 runs being just 7 short. He was out for a duck bowled by Flintoff.

change of places

im now not only on the internet. I am now on the internet blogging too. From my own family server deep in the woods of south-central england a long way from here. the address of the new location of this blog is http://hudsons.homeip.net/andrew/blog/ or http://www.big-andy.co.uk/blog/. I am also sorting out my own website as well as front pages for the other members of the family, they can change them when they want to. Its better if somthings there rather than not there.
Metallica on the fucking cans. From "the unnamed Feeling E.P." now its "hit the lights (live in paris)" and its totally fucking awesome!
Ive made up my mind what i am going to do over the next year or so. Get a temporary Job. Save up Money. Go Travelling. More on this later! Ive also completed another two goals on Tony Hawk 4. The weather was totally different today. Windy, sunny, now its grey but still warm enough for me to be sitting here typing in a pair of shorts and no t-shirt. Im also decided upon a new website shakeup and therefore another blogsite shape-up too in the future. So, look Out!!!

80 miles

yesterday i cycled in the baked oven of sunday roasting summertime. fifty one miles before the rest break, the feet were absolutely killing me but otherwise I was good. having not cycled since i was evicted from employment a week and a half ago i was absolutely knackered by the time i made the start at adenbrookes but i soon caught my breath. there was a mighty decent and return back up said spike for those mad enough to want such a challange, yes please! The cafe was shaded and very welcome after 51 miles (from chesterton) with tea and flapjack provided and a banana from the backpack. an incredibly cute piglet, about the size of a medium cat, called pie (nice for it to know its future so early) sitting on its own in a cage with umbrella for sun protection. the return back to cambridge was te shortest possible but as the day was getting past 1300 and into the afternoon the sun was even stronger the wind weaker and the over even hotter. I only just made it back to chesterton exhausted and feeling so so ill. but 80 EIGHTY miles on the clock!!! Ace in the Hole.
In the afternoon Roberta, her bloke, Fiona and Karen all met up in Cambridge and I dragged my carcass over into town to meet them. Nice to see them. Went to the famous bakery's cafe had cuppa tea and cake after walking round the town a little. Then played frisbee near their carpark quite windy and thus quite dodgy with light frisbee great fun tho. adios familia. bike back to chesterton more miles on the clock. hands really sore and feel still numbish in places.
watched i know what you did last summer, very good actually . and scarey too. made my blood freeze a couple times.
slept so much. i woke up at 700 this morning dusted the pipe got a drink of water and went back to bed getting up at 1400. whoah. it did stonk it down with rain this morning. its thinking of doing this again now. now its just before 1600.

this is me

Guardian Article with me in mind...

Banging

tony hawk 4 is the most addictive game that I have played in absolutely ages. no, skratch that. Tony hawk ProSkater 4 is the most addictive game that I have ever played. It is so addictive that I cannot tear myself from its encompasment for hours on end. I am getting closer to completing it. Not that I was close in the start, I am closer now to the middle than the start of the game but not even close to the end of completion. The game is very difficult. In some places its impossible. There is one goal to get 900k points in less than 2 mins. I managed another goal of getting a combo of 100k which by itself was manageable. Whoah im the demigod.

Reading won 3-2 in the first game of the Championship (former first division) versus Brighton. What is now "league one" is the former second division, and what is now "league two" was the old third division. Totally nuts. Gets really awefully confusing after a few seconds whirling around in the dust of it all.

Weather: very very very hot, not so humid as yesterday, bearable at the moment. Now its (bloddy hell its nine-fifty (pm) and its decidedly freshing. not humid, a little wind. Jules on the ibetha tip from radio1. Tomorrow is ment to be as hot with possibility of rain later. I am cycling tomorrow. Oh yeah the sun looks decidedly deadly and very delicious, it is now dark and the sun is long gone. Tomorrow morning it will be roasting and cycling will be especially good fun. Sarcastic mutherfucker aren't I!!!

Fiona Roberta and Karen are meeting in Cambridge tomorrow. Got a text from Fiona seeing if i was about, Said yes that I was cycling and would be about after 1400 which i figure is an average time that ive been back considering that I cannot remember when ive been back the three previous times that Ive been with the CCC.

Im in mid-reooganisation of my room at the moment. The floor is garnished with lots of jolly junk awaiting a home to be manufactured. itll bee good though.

Robert is coming down to cambridge this friday. the rents are coming over this saturday, or were when I last conversed with them before i lost my job - still haven't told them - when I was home for the cricket match. Adam, housemate (one of them), is off to LA as of this morning. I severly am needing a holiday. Anywhere. get me out of this town. Beach Sea Away from fucking computers. I hate them. No i dont. I spend too much time bored by them, although I am in gracious dept to them for many things. porn. juggling videos. music. information. technology. conversation.

dismemberment

christ it was hot humid today, still it is.
today i did food shopping, cooked dinner. played on the ps2 tony hawk proskater 4 doing well, missions getting incredibly difficult. e.g. i have to get 900,000 points in two minutes. i did buy that level and its the last level which is why its so fucking difficult. but still its almost a million.
the bro quit his job yesterday so ive got someone in the same boredom boat as me.
two hour siesta this evening. from 1700 till 1900 i musta been knackered. dont know why.
did some juggling in the roasting hot afternoon. bought the independent. has it always been that boring? i got the guardian yesterday and that was good/ is it to do with the broadsheet aspect of the guardian making it much better? the indy is only available to me as a tabloid style paper. ?go figure?

fired

fuck. out of work cannot tell the rents, could not tell the rents should that be. last week wednesday lunchtime i was put on garden leave immediately effective. well thats how you like to play is it? good fucking thing. I need a change of scene and this is the opportunity that has been put in my path. the money was good, some of the people were good too. shame that.
i went to see the bro this weekend. bristol is a truly great place. very hilly, lots of trees reminding one of france maybe, somewhere different from the flat fucking flat cambridge. so that was the weekend, it was good to see the bro, we went drinking friday night, did a tour of town on saturday with this really grand mountain with a tower on the top. still its great weather. its monday today. im reading lots, at the moment im reading "ham on rye" by charles bukowski and its awesome. i finished "dirt music" on the weekend in bristol lending it to robert dont know if he'll read it, probably not his sort of reading material but its there if he wants to read it! plus it made my bags a little lighter for the return journey sunday. england won the cricket beating the windies to go 2-0 up in the series. also today I played on the ps2 tony hawk 4 very addictive not as good as #3 as of yet. very addictive none-the-less.
can't burn the voice to tell the rents about the job, i fucking really wanted to when dad foned this evening but i could not bring the words to the air. im worried that i dissapoint them, thats the reason. it was the same with my degree result. I should have gotten a first but the last year I actually lived a bit and had a good time not putting one hundred percent into the chemistry coursework as i should have done. didnt get on with them either. im an independent person not liking to be told what to do. thats my problem. im too strung up getting perfection where perfection perhaps is not what is needed. im a perfectionist independent loner. so shoot me.
tonight I made spag bolognaise, it was very nice. i should make proper food more often. Im eating these oranges, they;re okay. not too special, not very juicy. what is the problem with oranges in this fucked up country? they're put into storage for too long and then they have lost all of their flavor all of their juiciness. what the fucks that all about?
