Juggling

YEAH. Two hours juggling tonight, its always better at night, feeling very torn and worn at the end of the 2nd hr as ive been mostly working on 5 and 4. I'm using a different method for catch-counting (counting every catch/throw with music banging in the ears dont mix). Use a different color ball and count every throw using this ball, so much easier to concentrate on this. My progress is a max of 17 caught throws of the red ball (17*5=85 which is shorter than my actual max of 131 but closing in on it). Five ball tennis, two tennis throws :) Gonna work on this and hopefully more 5-ball tricks as it takes the focus away from learning 5 just for the sake of learning 5 and onto newer more difficult challanges.

Inter won 3-1 away to keep their 100% record in the champions league. Michael Rogers gets two World Championship TT golds in one day. He won today's ITT in the worlds in Italy, and also recieved his acquired gold from last yrs Worlds ITT (David Millar stripped of Gold cos he cheated with drugs).

Excellent TV program where a bloke from civvy street is trained up to take part in an extreme endurance race in the arctic. Facing polar bears, temperatures of minus 60oC and personal motivation crises as well as the fact that it is actually a race. The fact that all the other teams but one cannot finish the race (one bloke had a frost-bitten dick) did not take anything away from the event of them winning. Extreme!

Fx Extensions

Fx Extensions. Hahahaha. Go to Here and go back to Fx and look at the top blue border (of the window) and its fucking humered me fuckingly crankily to the max.
Oh, Man U beat Fenerbace in football by 6-2 with Rooooney Scorring a debut hat-trick wicked totally inspired, except for the defence - we were shit in the defence.

What Have I been doing all day?

well after last night's long css session I thought it would be time to get my CV up to date and print a few copies off. The Printer is totally not working. The problem, it seems, is lack of plug and play with the printer causing things to need manual installation and one cannot do this as windows 2000 pro doesn't like the driver that I have. I cannot get another one off the internet as HP are fucking anal and don't provide this service, tha bastards. I posted off another film via BonusPrint, listened to the first two HHGTTG episodes (of this the third series, on BBCRadio4), the second of these should now be available for download at rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/radio4/comedy/tue1830.ra this recquires RealPlayer and (or) this: Here. Need to put in archives again!.

Heras in Gold Jersey meltdown

Heras wins this years Vuelta by 30 seconds as Perez (the new wonderboy) claims victory in the ITT in Madrid in the final stage of this years Vuelta. Iam sad that it has ended, it is much better that the Tour de France in that it is so
open to many different types all through to the final stage in Madrid, and therefore more exciting to the viewer.
Went walking this morning was okay, did about 71/2 miles over undulating ground, I need more miles and this short distance was
surely not enough to satisfy my ravaging hunger for more more more.

back towards monotones... almost

that's much better. blue and white so dank and depressing. More changes in the pipes, peeps.

art is for arts sake

it is for arts sake that I have started HTML self learnage once again.
But before you all can see it I need my father to turn on the server (at Mother and Father's place in my Brother's room, he's gone back to uni but he was back in his room for a couple of weeks and turned it off because the server is very noisy and keeps one awake at night) something he has not done yet :(
And before that I need to complete. I need to begin to start then I can begin to complete. I am not now doing HTML at this moment because I am listening to The Egg which I downloaded from BBC radio1 show oneWorld (29.8.4) and I am tired from a long day of coding, reshaking my mind back into the mode of HTML coding, etc.
I watched Breathless this evening. It was rather dissapointing in the end, although the build-up was extra cool French 50s beat chic. The Egg are the band now in my moment. Have I told you that yet? . So I am tired. It has been a long week. Shit who am I kidding. hahaha.
But it is true that the weather is cold, I am getting cold here typing but I am in only a tee shirt and jeans. Did I tell you that I am without a job? Poor me. Goodnight, I am out of here.

the bug

Reached the point that it is so boring that I need to start about getting a job. The marathon walk Tuesday has sown seeds of exploration inside of me that are itching to break out even before the spring comes back round, its warm inside you see and sunny too.

The Olympic officials cannot disqualify Tyler because they deep froze the B sample and thus destroyed it, what a fuckup. From the B sample taken yesterday it looks as if Tyler DID dope but there are some irregularities between the A and the B so not conclusive on this new subjective blood analysis testing method. RBR is so mindfuckingly stupid at the moment, as soon as an American does well or conversly is tempted into the abyss of being labelled a drug cheat elect then there is an astonishingly huge number of daily posts, most americans cannot access this years Vuelta on TV so do not comment, or more likely their country folk are not featuring very well in the GC all spanish still headed by Heras although Perez is closing rapidly and Valverde is still in with a sniff if Heras "Dies a Thousand Deaths" (eurosport commentary team, thanks). Thus I have erased RBR from OE, hahahahaha ha.

autumnal Equinox

nights longer than days from now on folks. Sore as a mutherfucker today although I can walk still. Not done mutch other than read walking tales from the internet and watch some of the Wedding Singer and have dinner. I have now began "The Unconsoled" by Kazuo Ishiguro after getting severely bored with the last book I picked up (farewell to arms) which was very slow and i was still not in it after 50 or so pages, maybe too much Hemmingway in one week is not good.
.Reading. It looks as if the Coast to Coast is a good starter long distance path to get under my belt before I consider any bigger longer harder walks (South West Coastal Path, The Pennine Way) although it is 190 miles in length.

cambridge ely cambridge

all in one monstrous day. I started, left the house that is, at 0835 and began 5 mins later. Following a walking regieme that I read in Clear Water Rising (by Nicholas Crane) where he would walk for 55 mins of every hour and rest for the remaining 5 mins. This method of progress was great except for the end where I was supremely tired and my feet and legs were too sore to use yet I still used them going at a reduced hobble by the end in time to get the first episode of a NEW Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy series on BBCRadio4 (how fitting) at 1830. The walk to Ely was very windy and the first and latter quarters were best (the first being shaded and sheltered with trees and the latter with views of Ely Cathedral enticing one onwards to the goal) but the theme of the day was windy and flat. I arrived at Ely public toilets (where i remembered to stop the timer) after 4 hours and 25 mins. I returned to a bennch I'd passed in Ely on route to the bogs with a view of the river and sat down ate my sarnies and put of the hungry geese/duck-things. I was going to set off at 2 but I couldnt be with waiting around doing zip when I could be getting some more miles done! I set off at 1345 and got home after 4 hours and 45 mins at 1830 as stated above.
Listened to HHGTTG on the radio and had some OJ and water (not carried enough water on walk so was very thirsty, or food/energy also: I used it all up so need more if insane enough ever... (...to do this walk again) No Fucking Chance! I ran the bath which took an amazingly long time to fill (shit hot water pressure in house, big bath) and then soaked blistered foot (r) and sore legs and feet in bath: nice! Then hot soup and coffee and bread, mmm. Im tired.
Takehome: It was a self-imposed challange which I am ecstatic to have completed, never again though!

Tyler Hamilton Olympic TT Gold winner tested +ve for doping in both Olympics and this years Vuelta (where he won the ITT, stage 8, and pulled out a few days ago after a "dodgy stomach". I hope he's not guilty cos cycling does not need this shit.
ManU beat Liverpool last night 2-1.
England BEAT Auzzies in the cricket!!! Amazing.

"its so beautiful today, yeh hay hay hay"

.walking and juggling in one day? amazing!.
first time in for ever I am walking with Rachel, I did go walking Thurs on my own to the lock up river and back in the dark which was good but on my own, we went to Wickham fen and did 2 short walks as Rachel has bloodblisters on both feet after walking into town yest (not been walking for months and how about that 2 bbs the day before you go walking). It was fantastic to go walking altho this distance covered was not that great. In the afternoon we went to Ely and checked the place out, if I am going to do the river walk then this is where it finishes (or the half way point if I am fealing really adventurous, hehehe!). So walking again hopefully next weekend.
I've been back into the juggling over the last 5 days or so, I was very bored with juggling at the beginning of the hot summer after I was fired from my job and didnt touch my balls or clubs till this week. Tonight I went to juggling club, something I've not done in fucking months, and had a great time. Im not into the social aspect of the club, although there is one hottie so I'll have to reafferm my views later, cos most are nerds and blokes but its great to do lots of juggling!
The Man Valverde is only 5 seconds behind Heras in the Vuelta after todays Mountain ITT. Europe retain possession of the Rider Cup (currently 171/2 vs 91/2 of the USA with one match left). The Windies shock the Springbox by beating them to progress to the semis of the Champions Trophy. Pakistan beat arch rivals and neighbours India by 3 wickets to meet the Windies in the semis. Cannot believe that Davids is an Inter player, Veron too. Is this why we didnt win yesterday?

Listening to : Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind OST; DVD released on 3rd of October, b'day present please!
Mood: Happy and Reflective.

ahah first it was scorpiogirl, now its belle de jour...

Belle de Jour the first ever blog I read, has ended. I guess the time taken to manage these things is too much for some people who want to spend it in new different more challanging ways. Is this the end of the blog or is it just the beginning? In the beginning maybe the person thought this form of conversage was like a diary, ananoymous and private with the added incentive of the voyeristic provider but maybe it turned too deep, too revealing, too difficult to keep doing it at the same pace.

I finished "The Torrents of Spring" by Earnest Hemmingway, a very short tall story in Michigan with Indians and whites. The simple was best in this grand book. Now I have started "A Farewell to Arms", also by Hemmingway, it is too early to guage what this is about.

inter narrowly drew with pallermo this eve on eurosport with a highly attacking game plan, no less than 3 strikers at the end of the game the ref is a blind mad bat and doesn't give us two clear penalties and there are so many chances we are very unlucky not to win this game and remain after two games with only two points. In other sportage e win the cricket to face Ozz in the semis, Heras still in Gold after Perez won the mountaintop stage 14 of the vuelta.

here's the webaddress for future reference when I cannot remember it anymore: Here it Is. Have to be a member for it!
Here are some BBC radio links to put into it.

library

whoah. Sitting in the library in town not being able to access internet at all cos the computer is so fucking fucked. I still have no email as one has to pay for such a basic privilage but I have internet and that's a start!!
The Vuelta a Espania is looking, finally, exciting and i am glad that the US postals are finally out of it because I dont like them. But who do I like? That's a grandious question. I like the T-Mobile boys of Zabel and Vinekourov (and Ulrich when he's in the race), Tyler Hamilton, and okay one USPS dude who won Tuesday's stage after going a full 160 KM on his own.
Roberto Heres wins todays stage atop the unclassified (or HC from Tour de France speakalology) by 34" over Perez, 53" over Mancebo and 1'27" over Valverde and Nozal. I found this incredible bike blog from a bloke in SF who writes on the rec.bike.racing newsgroup. I cannot remember his blog address now but I'll add it shortly when I have my computer up and running again... How long away that will be I don't know :) Landis, this morning's GC leader is dethroaned by Heras as he finishes 3'06" back.
Right, off to find me some books!

2(e)1(p)

e beat p in the football. Still blessed with the lurgey, running nose more of a hit wiping out the the soreness of the throat. Did the food shopping, ultra heavy shoulders breaking under the weight. Very warm nice sunny weather today. Watched some of the vuelta on eurosport. less mind numbing than yesterday.

using blogthis extension of mozilla Firefox 0.9.3.
Got a terrible sore throat, feeling unwell.
Watched some of the Vuelta a Espania then got very bored with it - Petacchi won the stage after another Fasso train leadout beating Zabel by the minutest of separations: a mere CM.
Used DreamWeaver in conjunction with Fireworks to produce a couple of pages for my two films of photographs (developed and scanned to CD at BonusPrint: okay quality, better than nothing as I have no scanner!). See Here. There are some reasonable pictures.

Intollerable Cruelty

Destination   Cavendish, Suffolk
Duration   4.10.38* (h.m.s)
Distance   73.44 miles
Av. Speed   17.6mph
Max Speed   36.5mph

* = rolling time. I did stop a lot as told below.

The ride - After yesterdays visit to Duxford on bike to see the international airshow (which by the way was very good although I was quite exhausted on the way there, stopping halfway) I should have guaged that my fitness was still good for short bursts of high intensity but the endurance aspect was very much lacking. Up at 0700 and get brekki (still only a bowl of branflakes, have to change this for next time) and saddled onto the bike. The day was warm and sunny but not yet HOT. The advantage of the now-early autumn is the long shadows cast by the sun in the morning and afternoon (not yet in the middle of the day). Set out okay, by about mile 34 i was struggling to keep with the group, especially up hills. Luckily the cafe was at mile 40 because the group were fading into the distance at this very high speed. At the Cafe I found that my back wheel had a broken spoke and was severly buckled making turning it very difficult. A nice toastie and apple pie added more energy but I was too knackered and decided to stop at mile 50 in a nice shaded corner by the road. Where was I and how would I make it back? I recognised Haverhill on the sign posts and made my way there and found Cambridge was the other side of it along a nice main road. I stopped at a garage and got some Lucazade and energy chocolate. The road (the A1307) was severly nasty for my knackered self with lots of long hills. I made about 4 stops along this road. Its a nice road, if one is fit and energy rich, so I might do a return journey some time. After climbing the last hill and seeing Cambridge I knew I had made it and rode the last number of miles back here relieved and knackered. The Cafe was very nice and I would definitely recommend it (Sue Rider Cafe).

Duxford - Saturday cycled to the yellow road south of Duxford airport. Watched planes and helis from 2 till about 6 then cycled back. Took some fotos but as I dont have a telephoto lens ill be lucky for some good action pictures. About 26 miles at 18.4 mph. Way back i rode along the A1301 and on the way there a mixed route over some hills.
Earlier Sat I went into town and got a new Diary, bike repair kit and some stationary. Very warm all day Sat too.

sticky mousemat

the pc ate my previous entry so ill keep this short. Eng rugby boss Woodward handed in his resignation which was turned down by his bosses so he's still in the leash. Manchester United #8 Rooney!!! Signed on Tuesday (yest.) for in excess of £25 million until 2010. England thrash India by 7 wickets in the first of three ODIs with Harmison getting a hat-trick to finish the Indian inns setting an easy target of 171 which England gobbled up with over 10 overs spare. Ive been using Gmail lots recently. I like it because its fast, the colours and most importantly the way that it combines messages of the same conversation into one "folder" for easy linear viewing as and when the conversation occurs. It's awesome! Listened earlier to a Dave Clarke (he's the god of dark) mix which I borrowed from Kazaa, brilliant and doomey. I completed another THPS 4 task, no meagre task this one, getting 1,500,000 points in 2 mins on Carnival. The same task on Chicago is going to be much more difficult as the halfpipes are taller and further apart making it not possible to do as many airtricks in the same combo without losing speed to carry onto the next thing, its all about speed and the further the ramps are apart the more speed is lost.
radio history today as the first ever music (legally) download chart was aired on radio1. over 30 mins from 1815 UK time the top20 was counted down with a range of 10 tracks: the top 6 and 4 others. Westlife grabbed the first #1. Many artists with multiple entries (maroon 5 have three). Hopefully there will be better music on this chart, the top40 (regular) is and has been for years and years a fuckshitcunt-up for the pop bigwigs, not playing the good music.
