hungry for information

already day one of unwork I am tired of it, I am in need of strict regieme. I finished my book "Star of the Sea", deposited my cheque from America (arrived this afternoon via UPS) and did some juggling this evening. This evening I also made a webpage for the latest 2 films worth of photos, watched Smallville and spoke to the rents. I need fucking excitement fucking shit fuck, fucking shit. Started a new book "status anxiety" by alain de botton [i read his previous read "the art of travel" and was greatly impressed] which i picked up at half price on the weekend.
Steppometer: less than 1000. Hrmmm. I am going to do more. I set myself a challange: 10000 steps every day for 1 week, starting tomorrow and lets see what difference it has made (mentally and physically).

:>>>

this bike is definitely fucking nice! Shaves hours of walking to&from juggling!
Juggling was good, once I had caught back my breath ;-) that is! An excellent run of 4ball shower and working on BC NEW record of 5 catches (each addition vital at this moment!) and 16 lefts BC New Record.
New Series of 24 on TV, a double bill, only watched the first (what are they thinking? its a Sunday for f**ks sake).
Listening to Pretty Girls Make Graves (PGMG) and it was only a fiver "Good Health" well spent 5. System of a Down "system of a down" not as violent or as fast as Toxicity but damn fine none the less.

lung buster

Now I have finished the work for my uncle I have now free time again. Today I bought a replacement rear wheel and went out riding. Nowhere much other than the loop of ~4 miles (speedo was playing sleepy so I don't know the details) in ~20 mins. That sounds slow, actually. I was riding quite fast, at least a 15mph average I think. Sure as hell beats walking and I really just dig the independence it feeds me. I gotta get the map out and see where I can go! I still need some mudgards and winter trousers for when its much colder/wetter than today.
11115 steps today. Used the bus to go into town and back twice and this might have upset the figures somewhat (bumpy bus ride = bumpy pedometer :. more steps?)
ManU thrashed Boro in the Cup 3-0 with Rooney scorring two goals of sublime beauty. Serena won the womens final coming back from injury and a set down to win in 3 sets making her world #2 and garnering her with a 7th grandslam trophy.

and now i can bathe

Finished the research!!! I feel good! What to do, what to do now I have this free time?? I can now take a shower. I had to wear a portable ECG recorder for 24hrs and therefore couldnt shower as the stickers would come off and the electronic recorder would electrically bite me.
Hewett beat Roddick. Wow! I watched the opening few games and Roddick looked King, watched the final game and Hewitt was King, by the score it looked ultra close (2 breakers in the middle 2 sets). He now plays Safin in Sundays final.

1693

I wore the pedometer for an hour or so this evening, don't know how accurate this baby is going to be but I'll see. According to it I have done: 1693 steps. There are more functions such as mileage and calories burnt.

it bloody hurted

just back from my pre-medical for my clinical trial, and it fucking hurt. cannot go into details but it really was painful. Now I am wearing a ECG holster till tomorrow pm.
New Carpets in house!!! Very nice!
Pedometer arrived in post this morning, 2 films back from bonusprint also.
Federer beaten! Russian Marat Safin beat him in 5 sets.
Found some Asahi and its blooming tasty skrag! Drank it all this evo as now can post medical.
In town I got 2 cds, 3 books, and a highly reflective gillet for biking.

destruction

england won in SA first time in 50 years!!! Final test drawn and thus handing the series to us. 5hrs more work, just over 300 remain 3 letters to go. Ordered pedometer to do 10000 steps daily, sounds like a challange. I need a challange. Here I got another, get the bike fixed and do some riding. There's two now. Come ON!
Juggling today: 9BC with lefts NR. 4BC full NR?
Federer straight setted Agassi, and goes on to the semis where he'll meet Marat Safin, I watched the final game of the first set and it looked very close, if Agassi were younger then I think it would have been a totally different matchup, today Federer was god.

487 left. 187 done today. 5hrs work. Tired now. New series of Smallville starts tonight.
snowed, didnt settle, ground too wet already. more tonight? England have SA in need of runs and in need of 10 wickets if they are to win the 5th test and draw the series. Eng got a 113 run 1st inns lead and SA are 59-2 with the final day tomorrow.

ice flake wind

illness all but gone, 3hrs work today less than 700 to do. It's so cold outside, the wind is bitter northern bite, snow tonight/tomorrow? I went to juggling club and got down 423 on doubles and singles, 2-in-one both sides much better and working on 441 with clubs too. Launching the first of 2 from L is diff at the moment. Also got a nice big run of 5 (not counting) and worked on 3ball BC. Picked up a BJC 2005 prereg form, which I'll fill in in the next few days cos I want to go to Perth in March/April!!!

cold is biting really strongly my nozzer valve is pumping out the evil nose juice quicker than I can reach for the hankies, nice. tidied room, just done an hours work not really felt like it yest or today but I gotta get this done. Think of the money. Thinking of the money I got my bike in from the shed and took the tyre and inner tube off the rear wheel so that I can take it into town and replace it ASAP, really cold out there when I went to the shops could snow on Monday which would be fucking nice as I love snow so much. Made flapjack yesterday, very nice although a bit overdone and the apricots will be chopped next time, good energy for hiking food i think, and biking.
Henman thrashed in straight sets and he was the last brit in the comp. Manchester United beat Villa and are 2nd (arsenal play Newcastle tomorrow) and Chelsea don't lose once more beating Pompey 3-0.

whooo

contract scanned in (thanks adam, lifesaver!) and gmailed but still its going to take absolutely ages for me to be serviced in sterling. Luckily I have nice parents who are going to lend me some money so I can pay the rent and keep living till I get paid, I dont like being in debt, to anyone, letalone to the parents so this is the last resort.
5 hours of work today, less than 900 names to do, an awful lot still to do but I have done the hard stuff. Been ill most of today with nasty sore throat and now I've got a gushing snozzer and popping ears (like you get on a plane). Did some juggling, concentrating on backcrosses with balls, the left is getting much better but its a long road to full backcrosses! Rusedski beaten by #2 seed Roddick in 4 sets, Henman through in straight sets.

ill

hate whiners, hate being ill, hate whining but here goes. real sore throat couldnt sleep last night. Went to town today, no work, and did food shopping arms almost stretched to the ground bags soo heavy (rucsac needed next time).
ManU beat Exeter 2-0 to go through to meet Middlesborough in the 4th round of the FA Cup. Excellent Federer vs. Japanese qualifier on TV this morning. Im ill did I mention that???

1082 left...

... Restarted the research after a long weekend "off". There are 1082 contacts still to find and I am very bored. Still, on the +ve side I have heard that I need to "sign" a contract before I get paid so hopefully after I do that it shouldn't be too long before I do. Also, in the post this morning confirmation of my appointment re:assessment for clinical trial is a week thursday: nice. Man I'm tired, stayed up till 330 last night watching tennis and got up early this morning. House inspector lady visited and now we should be getting new carpet, repairs etc that are needed. Sore eyes, smelly bum, curved spine and lazy feet.

henman wins 1st round

4 sets also, dominant when he was confident but jittery in final 2 sets.

he's won!!!

so I eat humble pie, Rusedski produced a total-tennis display, coming from one down to win in 4 sets. Bjorkman came back strongly after being whipped in the 3rd set to take it to a tie-break but Rusedski flawed Bjorkman mentally to take the match.

first set bjorkman

the "brit" lost it 2-6

fucking a mate!

england furiously beat s.africa getting em all out after lunch with 8 overs spare and the light fading by the minute. WOW!!! Listened to it on the radio while not doing work today, still waiting for money to arrive in my bank. House inspection tomorrow lots of smartening the place up tonight. Made a wicked sausage caserole. No more Su Doku for free from the Times' site. There is a Su Doku book by its inventor out in late-March. More done on the website. Was going to go walking, anywhere, but it rained fuckloads and I am not that desperate to get a soaking yet!
System of a Down have a new LP out at the end of FEB. Heard the new single on the radio1 and its rocking. also QOTSA release their new LP on 21st March.
rusedski is 2-4, down a break in his first-round clash with Bjorkman in the Australian Open.

wazzed out

juggling tonight was okay, 423 with clubs coming on nicely, 60 throws of 3-club doubles NR?? Also working on triples. 3-ball BC still very difficult, problem is the left throw is shit so must work on this over the next 7days.
Anthony Gatto Here has just more videos on his site (need a password, ask him via his email) including 7-club 7-up pirouette. Bow down to the almighty juggler one!!!
I'm still hungry, pasta sauce was not enough, off to the shops we go we go...

gatto's 7-club 7-up Pirouette

I did club juggling outside until it got too dark. half-way with the researching, day off today. Not done much, too lazy today except for juggling and reading. Off to juggling club in a moment after dinner, what shall I have???

absolute friends

This morning I worked for 2 hours had lunch and then went back to the computer, the internet was down. At first incredibly frustrating because I wanted to do work but after a siesta and an afternoon and evening reading (and completing) Absolute Friends by John Le Carre I now have internet.

I am totally incapacitated without the internet, in a few short years how quickly we (me at least and I cannot imagine that there is not millions of others like me in this fact) have become attached and dependent upon the internet in our daily lives. When I was at university I could not go a day without checking my email, now it is more like an hour or even less than that, yet only 5 years ago the internet was something of a luxury with slow dialup connection and only a small amount of the week that was spent online (if any at all).
I use i-net for music, information, porn, juggling, photography, email and contact with friends and family, online banking and shopping, checking what the weather is outside (I can look or pop my head out of the window sure but it is so much easier clicking the mouse a few times and getting instant readout on the screen) and so much more. Reading a book now is so much of a pleasure which I have to make sure I take time out for, the computer is so moorish drawing oneself in for more and leaving little time for anything else. Unless you force yourself away, turn it off or whatever, and actually do something different. TV is much the same but I am getting bored with TV at the minute, there is little on and reading is much more fun. Smallville is back on TV, as is 24, later in the month so things shall change.

Juggling today, 4 catches of Backcross 3-ball NR. Keep on hitting the back of my head with balls which aint good! ManU drew goalless with Chelsea in the semis of the league cup 1st leg.

The Le Carre book was really good, really crazy ending. Spies of today post 9/11 post-Iraq II with english spy coming to terms with conscience and post-cold war spying world. V.good, although then ending was too fast for my liking.

working...

Last weekend the time was off, juggling club last night was sublime. First ever 3ball backcross flash and some three-in-one hand ball, mostly trying different ideas and moving around. What else on the weekend? Nothing of note, Im very skint at the moment although I am working for my uncle collecting via google contact details of 2400 or so people. It is very numbing and my eyes are a bit dry sore and knaffy. Im averaging about 30 names per hour (email, phone, and url for each) and have done about 600, as I say its very consuming and dull but it shall pay good. Ive sent off the first invoice but the money will take awhile to wend its way from the america to me.
wblogger 4.0 any different? New Template as the old one was way to blocky, way to blue and I am so sick of its garrishness.

babies' names

top 100 boys names
top 100 girls names

very nerdy I know, Im a nerd so there you go. DEAL WITH IT

browser stats. Now acknowledging firefox as a dominant threat to IE, now has its own column. Incase you dont use Fx, get and use it ASAP!

back in the hood

arrived back home by train (journey fine) after lunch, unpacked bags and did an hours work (working for uncle sean collecting contact details for people on his companies database, 2400 to get whoahhhahhha, should give me money at least!) then went to badminton. I am now a member of Crossways Badminton Club meaning I can play everyweek till the end of April if I want to. 4 hours later I get home knackered and fall asleep.
--
just got off the phone with gsk and I am going to do my first ever medical trail in just over a months time. 3 hours of research do and I am aiming to get through the m's by the end of today (I started with the ms because there were 2 others on the project who are now off project leaving me to do it all... think of the money, think of the money!!!). The trial sounds painful, and thats just the needles blood and chainsaws.

I'm off to the Cambridge tomorrow, but will stay to see more rellos and Nanny's famous roast yorkshire and beef lunch, then off up *north*.

Happy New Year!!!
Didnot go out last night, am I a bad person??? Watched The Wicker Man, and Roman Road. Dug out the Pantera and played that. Started planning for travelling in 2005, got my folks' atlas out and am writing where I would like to visit, things I'd like to see and relatives that I am going to visit. It's great fun!!! Listening to Evan Dando's "Baby I'm Bored" fucking brilliant it is! Problem with not own place and CDs at parents' home is that much of my CD collection is here, no space in Cambridge you see. I could get an MP3 player but I want to go travelling and the MP3 player is not a priority.
Yesterday went with Dad cycling, 50 mins on road and off, rellos flew back to USA in morning so after watching the Return of the Jedi we went out in the damp gloom. The last ride up the hill (right from the bottom) was steeep but worth all the extra pedalling once got home. New cycling top doing very well, not at all sweaty and was warm too, it mite be good for hiking also.
